Today was a travel day so after breakfast (eggs this time were in the from of a spicy and tasty tortilla/frittata)! We packed our bags and collected our laundry from the local lady and then our driver drive the 2.5hrs to our next stop at Tissa. We had decided to base ourselves here so that we could go to Ude Walawe National Park and take another jeep safari.
Our accommodation just outside of Tissa was one of three individual bungalows set in tropical gardens with a pool and outside terrace. The accommodation was huge and the best of our trip so far!
On arrival, we unpacked and headed straight for the pool and the sunbeds! We had a relaxing afternoon and enjoyed a tuna fish supper on our own private terrace. Bliss.
