Perth and a wedding!

It is no exaggeration to say that our whole trip had been based and planned around the a wedding invitation we received. The daughter of our dear friends who emigrated to Oz several years ago now was getting married on 28th March and we were invited! It would have been rude not to accept!

And so, after a pleasant flight with Virgin Australia from Melbourne to Perth on 27th March we arrived at our AirBnB digs for the next few days. A lovely apartment walking distance from the Swan River, downtown and the wedding venue!

The day dawned bright and warm if a tad breezy. We walked along the river after breakfast then headed back to our apartment to get ready. We walked to the hotel where the wedding party were starting to arrive. 

All weddings are lovely. All brides are beautiful. There are always tears of joy. Jen's wedding was no exception and a smashing day was enjoyed by everyone. 

We felt privileged to be able to share in the happy couples special day.
