A week in Queensland

Thanks to the invitation from an old friend to house and pet sit we were able to spend a week living in Landsborough, a pretty heritage town about an hour from Brisbane. Our week passed in the blinking of an eye and we had a marvellous time exploring the local neighbourhood where we regularly saw Roos and Kookaburras. The rural location with bush at our back door made for quite the contrast from our time in the suburbs of Melbourne. We walked several coastal paths at Caloundra and Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, met up with family at Moreton Bay, did a driving tour of the Glass House Mountains and Blackhall Ranges and revisited old favourites of ours like Maleny.
