Regional Victoria.

We really enjoyed having a base in Melbourne for a few weeks as this allowed us to explore at our leisure with some days out and about and others just relaxing at the house.

We managed a trip to the Queen Victoria Market where the array of fresh, organic produce was really impressive. We also had a couple of great nights out with our friend. We went to a sing-a-long at the local RSL and enjoyed a decent curry with wine. We also had a good evening at the Theatre where we saw a play and had before show proseccos!

In the middle of our stay we were able to get the train to Ballan, the hometown of our good friends, Leone and John who we first met back in May 2009 when we looked after their two JRTs and condo in Singapore. It was lovely to catch up with them and we spent a great weekend with them both, exploring the local neighbourhood and enjoying the pretty countryside. We were also invited to a Retro evening which included 70s themed food, music and clothes! A good time was had by all.
