After three weeks of travelling, exploring, sight seeing, packing and unpacking we were ready for some downtime at the beach. Langkawi, an island off the North Coast of Malaysia and in the Andaman Sea turned out to be the perfect location for our week of fun in the sun!
We had a lazy and leisurely time on the island, slipping into an easy routine of breakfast at the Guest House (www.solunaguesthouse.com),

spending time at the beach in the late afternoon,
watching the sun set spectacularly over the island,
enjoying a fabulous variety of cheap and tasty food and generally going with the flow. Mid way through our stay we did tour the island and we also visited the nearby rice museum. We will write more about these trips in separate posts.
