Cycling along the Riviera Brenta

Close by to the campsite near Venice flows the River Brenta and there are also quiet cycle tracks you can follow in either direction along the riverside. We didn't have any bikes when we set out but planned to purchase a couple at some point during our trip. As Della had wanted to explore this area for a while we thought this would be a good a time as any to buy some bikes and get pedalling!!
The routes were pleasant and the cycle tracks relatively traffic-free. The old, crumbling mansions that lined the paths and river were a sorry sight to see having once been quite magnificent in their day.
