We loved Bruges and the fact that it is a very handy stopover after taking the ferry from Dover to either Calais or Dunkirk is a bonus.

Road Trip 2014 - Belgium - Bruges
Our first overnight was at a lovely campsite (Camping Memling), just an easy 15 minute walk into Bruges. This was to be our first visit to Bruges and we were not disappointed. Luckily the weather was fine and we were able to explore this compact and very pretty town in an afternoon.
We loved Bruges and the fact that it is a very handy stopover after taking the ferry from Dover to either Calais or Dunkirk is a bonus.
