PoMo

In complete contrast to Merida the lovely, quaint fishing village of Peurto Morelos (affectionately known as PoMo), is much more our bag and it is where we decided to spend our last night in the Mexican Carribean.

We had visited earlier in our stay and our return for an overnight only served to reinforce the initial postive impression we had of this little town. A real backwater with a superb beach and calm, turquoise blue waters. Plenty of options for vegetarians and a local bookstore make this unassuming town one of our favourites!
