Historic Georgetown

Our last day in Penang came around all too quickly and we still had not explored downtown Georgetown so we decided to hire a couple of bikes and venture out to explore.

We found the town to be much bigger than we expected and also much busier. Our favourite parts of the city were the street art and land jetties. 

We also enjoyed exploring Chinatown but we hit Little India at midday when it was very hot and super busy. Not our best move.

Despite the mayhem and the heat we enjoyed our cycling tour and ended the day at the China House, a place recommended by our host and where we listened to a jamming session and ate some decent Mexican food!
