US Road Trip - Florida to Nevada - April/May 2013 - Part 3

For us, the state of Arizona proved to be the main highlight of our trip. Not least because it is here we got to see the Grand Canyon in all its glory. We did not have the best weather but the changing light only served to make the experience all the more dramatic. Our photos really do not do this natural wonder any justice. The sheer size and scale of the canyon we found overwhelming and our first glimpse literally took our breath away......A full day of exceptional natural beauty.
