We share a love of travel and animals and since "retiring" from our conventional jobs in finance and the Civil Service we have been house and pet sitting around the globe.
We have had the good fortune to visit many beautiful places. We spend a considerable amount of time in France (our first love!), we spent almost a year travelling in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and after a summer spent between France and the UK we enjoyed a marvellous month on the Greek island of Crete. The end of 2010 we were living on Vancouver Island, Canada. We had a wondrous house sit in Hilo, Hawaii, taking a few days off in San Francisco, to catch up with friends before making our way back to Europe.
Another summer and winter in France and a fabulous month-long trip to Western Australia in March 2012 and we then spent the best part of the year house and pet sitting throughout the UK interspersed with visits to France and Switzerland.
A spontaneous trip to visit friends in the US gave us the opportunity to visit NYC, Philadelphia and Washington DC in the Autumn of 2012.
2013 saw us undertake a 3 week road trip across the US from Florida ending our trip in Las Vegas, Nevada. The year was a busy but fun one with plenty of pet and house sitting gigs and the purchase of our pre loved VW camper. Our first trip in "Reggie" was in September in the UK where we explored the New Forest, Hampshire and the south coast.
2014 kicked off in the south of France and then Mexico where we celebrated Tracy's 50th birthday!
We hope to acheive a decent balance between our pet and house sitting gigs and our personal love of travel. Our aim is to become perpetual travellers (PTs)!
