Goodbye to Siem Reap

After a lovely week of exploring and relaxing in equal measure the time came to leave Siem Reap and it would be true to say that we were very sorry to go. We have fallen for Cambodia and Siem Reap in particular in a big way and we do hope that we can return in the not too distant future.

We took the Giant Ibis bus for the very long and very bumpy 7 hour journey from SR to the capital Phnom Penh. Suffice to say we were glad to arrive and to find our hotel was as expected and in a leafy and quite area of the city. 😃😃
