A new week a new country!

After our weekend stay we left KL on an early afternoon flight with Air Asia headed for Siem Reap in theKingdom  of Cambodia. It has long since been a wish of ours to visit the temples at Angkor Wat and finally we were going to realise our dream. We were beyond excited.

The short flight across the Gulf of Thailand was uneventful and we arrived on time. We had been primed to have our US Dollars and passport size photos ready on arrival in order to obtain our visas.

Luckily we were ahead of a plane load of other travellers and managed to get the paperwork and our visas processed relatively quickly although there was a good deal of mayhem and frenetic activity!!

Our pre arranged tuk tuk driver was waiting for us and so we made our way to our B & B for the next three nights in our very first tuk tuk ride! It was awesome.
